It is prescribed to patients who experience dizziness due to low blood pressure while standing up suddenly from sitting or lying position.This medicine causes blood arteries to constrict, resulting in an increase in blood pressure.

This medicine is usually prescribed to be taken during daytime when people stand most often.It should not be taken if you plan to lie down for an extended period of time after the dose.
