Carmuther 100mg Injection is an anticancer medication that contains the active ingredient carmustine. It is used as palliative therapy (preventing and alleviating patient suffering) in specific diseases such as multiple myeloma, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, and brain tumours (glioblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, and metastatic brain tumors). Cancer is a disease in which cells proliferate uncontrollably and abnormally. This drug is used to treat cancer either alone or in conjunction with other medications.
This medication is not advised for people who have a low blood count. This medication can induce delayed bone marrow suppression (a spongy material found within the bone that creates blood cells) and lung damage. Your blood counts will be checked on a regular basis by your doctor. 100mg Carmuther Injection may be harmful to your unborn child. During therapy and for at least six months from the last dosage, use effective birth control. Because this medication includes alcohol, consult your physician if you have seizures, liver problems, or an alcohol addiction.
